As we ended our year the team was fortunate to get a behind the scenes look @The Boeing Company in Mascoutah. The plant was still a buzz from their exciting weekend, where US Navy’s MQ-25A Stingray built in the Mascoutah facility, completed its first test flight from Mid America Airport.

The MQ-25A Stingray is the U.S. Navy’s first operational, carrier-based unmanned aircraft system, designed primarily to serve as an aerial refueling tanker.
Where they had just flown their new aircraft - QR35 an autonomous plane.

Throughout our tour, the Site Manager Justin - shared how Boeing can support a variety of careers beyond engineers, they need teachers, accountants and that most of his day is problem solving and serving his team to ensure their success. His team is measured by a variety of key performance indicators. When asked how he handles stress he shared that stress is an internal mechanism you put on yourself, so everyone handles it different, you just work through the problems until you find a good solution.

Thanks for the inside look at the exciting future in Aviation.
