About Me

Maggie Schrage of Breese is a senior at Central High School this year while partaking in the CEO program. At school, Maggie is Student Council Vice President, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle leader, a LifeSaver, the Senior Ambassador for Central’s Special Olympic Organization, a Leadership Committee Rep, as well as many other academic groups on campus. In college, she plans to double major in Political Science and Theology of Law at Millikin University while playing basketball for the Big Blue. After her 4 years at Millikin, she wants to attend 3 years of law school to become a criminal lawyer. Following that, Maggie would like to become more politically involved as possibly a state representative or senator if given the ability. In her free time, she plays basketball, works on her individual business she started in March of 2022, and like to spend time with her friends. Maggie is super interested in the business side of the world, as well as in politics, and she can’t wait to make new connections while learning!

About My Business

Maggie is the owner and CEO of Polished Pine Furniture (@PolishedPineFurniture on Facebook)! The mission of her business is to collaborate with clients to create unique refurbished wood furniture pieces perfect for every home from commission pieces to complete flips she imagines up! Maggie takes old, or “well-loved” as she likes to say, wood pieces and gives them new life by refinishing, refurbishing, and repurposing each and every one of them. She creates unique furniture pieces unlike anything else that has been created! The business launched in March of 2022 and she plans to take the business with her to college if possible as well as continuing it when she is home on breaks. Without the Clinton County CEO class/organization, Polished Pine would have never come about, so on Facebook, check out what the business has available today!
