About Me

Landon Frerker is a 2027 senior at Central Community High School in Breese, Illinois. Raised in Breese and a graduate of Breese District 12 Grade School, Landon has developed a strong passion for fitness, especially weightlifting and staying active. Fitness has become more than just a hobby for him; it has taught him the importance of discipline, consistency, and pushing himself outside of his comfort zone.

After high school, Landon plans to attend either Grand Canyon University or the University of Illinois Chicago to study Kinesiology or Exercise Science. His goal is to build a strong understanding of the human body, movement, and exercise so he can pursue a career in personal training. In the future, Landon hopes to own his own personal training business and use his knowledge and experience to help others become healthier, stronger, and more confident.

Through the Clinton County CEO program, Landon hopes to gain a better understanding of what it takes to turn an idea into a successful business. He is especially excited to meet local entrepreneurs, learn from their experiences, and develop relationships that can help shape his future. Landon also wants to improve his public speaking and communication skills. Becoming more confident when speaking in front of others is an important goal for him because he knows strong communication will be essential when working with clients, building a reputation, and eventually running his own business.

Outside of school and fitness, Landon values spending time with his family and friends. He looks forward to using the CEO role as an opportunity to challenge himself, learn from people with diverse experiences, and grow both personally and professionally. Ultimately, Landon hopes to leave the program with a stronger understanding of business, greater confidence, and the knowledge and connections needed to take the first steps toward his future in the fitness industry.
