About Me

Makenna is a driven, personable, and enthusiastic student at Central Community High School who brings a natural sense of energy, creativity, and initiative to everything she takes on. She enjoys working with others, building meaningful connections, and finding ways to make the people around her feel welcomed and valued.

Outside of the classroom, Makenna stays actively involved in her school and community through organizations such as Art Club and Service Club, as well as her role as a youth counselor at her church camp. She also has a strong passion for theatre and has been involved with Clinton County Showcase since she was seven years old. Over the years, she has taken on increasing responsibility, including serving as a crew manager, and hopes to continue growing toward a co-directing role. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong appreciation for teamwork, communication, creativity, and the commitment it takes to bring an idea to life.

One of Makenna’s greatest strengths is her ability to connect with people. Her lighthearted and approachable personality allows her to build relationships naturally, while her determination pushes her to take initiative and pursue new opportunities. She enjoys hearing different perspectives and believes that some of the best ideas come from people who are willing to listen, collaborate, and think differently.

As a participant in the Clinton County CEO program, Makenna is eager to expand her understanding of business while learning from the experiences and perspectives of those around her. She believes effective leadership is not about being the loudest person in the room; it is about listening, encouraging others, communicating clearly, and helping a team move forward together.

Makenna is especially focused on strengthening her confidence and communication skills. She is willing to step outside her comfort zone, embrace challenges, and learn from both successes and setbacks. She approaches new experiences with curiosity and a willingness to grow, viewing each opportunity as a chance to become a more capable and well-rounded individual.

With her outgoing personality, collaborative mindset, and determination to keep moving forward, Makenna brings a distinctive combination of professionalism and personality to every opportunity. She is not afraid to bring her authentic self to the table, and she looks forward to continuing to grow as a leader, communicator, and member of her community.
