About Me

Angeleen Wesselmann is a senior at Mater Dei Catholic High School, where she has developed a strong passion for leadership, responsibility, and serving others. She is a three-year member of the National Honor Society, a four-year member of Student Ambassadors, the Mater Dei FFA President, and a four-year varsity softball player.

Throughout her academic and athletic career, Angeleen has received several awards and recognitions. She received the Student Ambassador Award for two consecutive years, the Health Award during her sophomore year, and was named Student of the Quarter during her sophomore year. Through FFA, she has earned several achievements, including third place in Dairy Judging, a Gold-Ranked Section Reporter recognition, and served as the Section 22 Reporter during the 2025–2026 school year.

Outside of school, Angeleen volunteers as a softball coach for All Saints Academy and works as a soccer referee for the City of Carlyle. She also has customer service experience from her job at Dairy King in Breese, where she has developed valuable skills in leadership, communication, and patience.

Angeleen is passionate about spending time with her family and friends and enjoys staying active. In her free time, she often goes on walks, plays pickleball with friends, and plays softball. After high school, she plans to attend Kaskaskia College while exploring her career interests and determining the path she would like to pursue.
