About Me

Camie Lindsey is a senior at Mater Dei Catholic High School in Breese, IL. She is involved in Art Club, where she gets to be creative by painting decorations for homecoming, prom, and other people who ask her teacher for help. She also attends Sisters in Christ, an all-girls group where everyone can come together, talk about what is going on in their lives, pray, and just have some good girl talk. Being involved in these groups has helped Camie meet new people and become more comfortable being herself.

After high school, Camie plans to attend Kaskaskia College to study nursing and cosmetology. She has always enjoyed helping people and making others feel good about themselves. She is excited about having careers where she can work closely with people, build relationships, and make a difference in their lives. Camie is passionate about caring for others, being creative, and learning new things. She hopes to combine these interests in her future and find a career that she truly enjoys.

Camie is excited to be part of the CEO program because she wants to push herself out of her comfort zone. Public speaking and being in front of crowds are things she wants to become more confident with. She hopes the CEO will help her learn how to communicate better, meet new people, understand how businesses work, and gain life experiences that she can use in the future. She also wants to learn from the people she meets and hear about their different careers and experiences.

Outside of school, Camie enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with her friends, and going on new adventures. She loves making memories, trying new things, and spending time with the people she cares about. Camie would describe herself as someone who is caring, hardworking, and always willing to learn. She sees CEO as a chance to grow not only as a student, but as a person. She is looking forward to challenging herself, becoming more confident, and seeing where this experience takes her.
