About Me

Everett Knackstedt is a senior at Mater Dei, and the founder of Midwestsportscards4. He is a member of the Varsity Soccer Team at Mater Dei. In the past, Everett has worked for Mac’s family fun time which shows he's able to work with others. Everett believes being willing to start small, learn from mistakes, and consistently put in the work is what separates ideas from a real business. 

 Everett was raised in Highland, IL. He loves spending quality time with his family and being able to pour back into them. He aspires to one day turn the Midwestsportscards4 brand into a brick and mortar store right back into his community of Highland IL. Everett hosted a card show in Highland, IL where 65 vendors were set up and over 3,000 people walked in the door for the first one. 

 Everett has been able to grow a strong social media presence through capturing trades and other funny moments throughout his journey on his social media pages. With over 10,000 followers across all platforms Everett has been able to see what type of target audience he needs to hit. On top of this Everett is only 17 years old and has been building this all since he was a 14 year old. Everett is currently self employed through an app called Whatnot where he goes live once a week to sell about 200 cards to his audience that typically averages 40 people and peaks as high as 90 at certain points during the show. He is excited to take all the knowledge from experienced business leaders and see how they think and work through challenging tasks.
